The Queen's Speech will be posted later today, if all goes according to plan.

There will be thorough media coverage of the Queen's Speech from all papers. Be prepared for media outlets to ask you for comments on all sorts of issues, and be prepared to write commentary and press briefings and policy briefs of your own volition, if you want to try to steer the debate according to your interests, and to make things easier for the A-Team.

You will not have a great deal of time to prepare a media strategy, but I do recommend you try to coordinate your responses properly, to ensure all goes well in Parliament and in the Media.

It goes without saying, of course, that the debate in Parliament will also receive coverage, and that dismissing Parliament as secondary would be a bad mistake.

Please remember that there is a Press Office inside HQ. Use it. Flooding the external press office is not necessarily the strategy if you want to be given proper attention.
