This is a Conservative plan for a return to pensioner poverty. By abandoning the Triple Lock, they are ensuring that pensioners that earned the least are forced to fend for themselves in old age, while retired stockbrokers and bond traders like Steven Andrews will be able to live large. That is a disaster for our pensioners, a disaster for fairness in our society.

  1. The fact is this - under the Conservatives we will see smart spending in our public services, under Labour we will see once again spending into economic oblivion.

Tory budget is irresponsible, eliminating banker's tax while inflicting a 1.3 billion cut on our schools and massively increasing the deficit is unacceptable. Tory budget needs to be redone by its entirety in order to be taken seriously. Brexit Party will not accept this budget as it is and we advice voters to take a look at it very seriously.

After promising a Northern Powerhouse, the Conservative Party has abandoned the North: not one pound of new investment in skills, in building rail in the North, in buses, in anything really. This is an omnishambles budget that will leave every Northern community out in the cold.

The Shadow Chancellor can fudge this all he likes but the facts are clear - the Conservatives have robbed pensioners of the security of a triple lock and many of them will have been planning and saving thinking they had that security. Under Labour, the Triple Lock is safe.

This was a popular budget that threw out a lot of goodies. Lib Dems also take some nice brownie points out of this. It definitely improved the standing of the Labour Party in the British people's eyes now they saw a tangible fiscal blueprint of how Labour could help them and their families.

Again, the Tories' arguments were a little too process based (why are y'all taking lessons from the IRL Remain campaign?!) and they either didn't look like they had a plan of their own or they majorly misread the mood music of the country.
