A Liberal Democrat source close to the party leadership has told the BBC that the party will open a review into allegations of abuse or inappropriate behaviour within the party. The source told the BBC that "Nadia Templeton has started the process of a full review of the Liberal Democrats regarding claims of abuse and inappropriate behaviour. With the leak of the Panama Papers, among other things, trust in politicians is at an all-time low. The Liberal Democrats are moving swiftly to restore that trust and will not allow those who perpetuate abuse—of any kind—to have a place in the party."
