What is this for?

Motions are debates on a specific subject. Opposition frontbenchers can submit motions for debate on Opposition Days. Select Committee Chairs can submit motions, but these must be checked for non-partisanship by the A-Team. Motions are debated for four real life days, and are then voted on.

EDMs are short motions used to draw attention to a particular subject. They are not debated or voted on. Other players' MPs may sign an EDM to show their suppport. This may cause NPC MPs from the same party to sign it too.
